Consultation on the Proposed Introduction of Offences of Voyeurism, Intimate Prying, Non-consensual Photography of Intimate Parts, and Related Offences


The Government published the consultation paper on the "Proposed Introduction of Offences of Voyeurism, Intimate Prying, Non-consensual Photography of Intimate Parts, and Related Offences" on 8 July 2020, followed by a three-month public consultation period, during which public’s views on the legislative proposals therein were invited. The public consultation period ended on 7 October 2020.


Having carefully considered the public views received during the consultation, the Government published the consultation report on 8 January 2021 which summarised the consultation outcome. The full consultation paper and report can be downloaded at the hyperlinks below -
