Post-Secondary Student Summer Internship Programme 2026


Monthly Allowance:
HK$11,500

Entry requirements:

Applicants should:

(a) be members of the Security Bureau Youth Uniformed Group Leaders Forum;
(b) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(c) be full-time students in post-secondary institutions in the 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 academic year;
(d) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English;
(e) be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe software; and
(f) be capable of setting work priorities, possess good communication skills, , attentive to details and with strong commitment to accomplish tasks under tight deadlines.

Duties:

The job duties cover various areas of work in the SB, in particular those related to the interfaces with different youth groups.  Main duties include:

(a) to design details of programs and formulate operational plans for projects;
(b) to maintain a close liaison with internal and external work partners;
(c) to assist in the conduct of events and other functions of the related projects;
(d) to assist in relevant logistical arrangements;
(e) to conduct research on given topics; and
(f) any other duties as directed.

 

Working Hours:

44 hours per week, inclusive of meal breaks. Subject to the operational need of this Bureau, interns may be required to work outdoor, on irregular hours and on Saturdays / Sundays / Public Holidays.

 

Place of Work:

9/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong / 34/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Employment Period:

Placements will last for about six to eight weeks between June and September 2026.
