- Since May 2019, there has been violent unrest across the country, resulting in casualties.
- Since March 2019, there have been widespread power outages affecting most of the country. Many services including water supplies, communication, medical services and transportation have been disrupted.
- Residents who are already there should monitor the situation, exercise caution, attend to personal safety and avoid protests and large gathering of people.
