Torture Claims Appeal Board / Non-refoulement Claims Petition Office
- 1. Terms of Reference
The Torture Claims Appeal Board ("the Board") is an independent statutory body established under section 37ZQ of the Immigration Ordinance (Cap. 115) ("the Ordinance") on 3 December 2012. The Ordinance was last amended with effect from 1 August 2021. The Board hears and determines appeals made under section 37ZR and applications for revocation decisions under section 37ZM of the Ordinance. The powers and functions of the Board are governed by Part VIIC and Schedule 1A of the Ordinance.
