- An outbreak of an unknown disease with severe respiratory and neurological symptoms in Cambodia has resulted in the death of children; the cases have been reported since April this year and a majority of them were from the southern part of the country. The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) is closely monitoring the situation and residents are reminded to maintain their health vigilance while travelling abroad. Residents intending to visit the country or are already there should monitor the situation and the announcements by the local authorities.
